What data we collect
Parent's email
A parent may optionally create an account by providing their email. This is not required to use the app.
Email is used exclusively for:
- syncing data between devices
- saving and restoring profile
- managing subscription
- support communications
- information about app news and updates
You can unsubscribe from our communications at any time via the link in the email or by writing to privacy@ednplay.com.
Child's profile
In the app, you can create a player profile: name (real or fictional), birth month, hand preference, accessibility settings.
- Profile data is transmitted to the server only after creating a parent account with confirmed email
- Without an account, this data is stored only on the device
- Data is not used to personally identify the child
Technical data
When using the app, the following data is automatically collected: country and region, device model, operating system version, device language, anonymous installation identifier. This data is processed under a technical installation or profile identifier and is used only for app operation, progress restoration, and usability analysis. It is not used to personally identify the child.
Game progress
We save progress data (completed levels, achievements, time in game) to enable restoration when reinstalling the app. This data does not contain personal information about the child.
Payments and subscriptions in app stores
The app offers a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play platforms.
- We do not receive or store bank card data
- Payment information is processed by Apple and Google in accordance with their privacy policies
How we use data
We use data exclusively for: providing and maintaining app operation, syncing and saving progress, personalizing the gaming experience, technical support, improving Service quality, and fulfilling legal obligations.
For European Union users, the legal bases for processing are: your consent, contract performance, our legitimate interests (ensuring security and stability), and compliance with legal requirements.
Children's data protection
We pay special attention to protecting children's data:
- There is no advertising in the app
- We do not use children's data for marketing or profiling
- We do not collect children's personal data without parent involvement
- Profile data is used only for app operation
The app is intended for use by children under parental guidance. Account creation and personal data entry are performed by a parent or legal guardian. Account creation requires email confirmation. The app management section is protected by additional verification to limit children's access.
We make reasonable efforts to obtain parental consent in accordance with COPPA requirements and applicable law.
If you believe we may have received a child's data without parental consent, contact us: privacy@ednplay.com — we will take steps to delete it.
